Psychological Test
A Psychological test is standard measure of sample of a person’s behaviour that is used to measure the difference that exist among people and measure of an individual’s mental and /or behaviour characteristics.
Psychological test are used to assessed a variety of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement and ability, personality, and neurological functioning.

- To get information easily
- Information is scientifically tested and reliable
- They assist in diagnosis. Eg. Rorschach test (ROR)
- They assist in formulation of psychopathology of disease. Eg. TAT
- They assist in assessing severity of disorder. Eg. Hamilton rating scale for Depression
- They help in assessing general characteristics of individual. Eg. Personality tests
- These tests assess level of functioning or disability, help direct treatment and assess
- treatment outcome.
